SlyChimp

After Al died Dave, Jezz and I tried to continue as a studio project with Jezz playing guitar (and drums) but it was just not going to work. We had lost our leader.

In Late 2000 SlyChimp was born. Armed with a sampler, bass, and occasional guitar, I set about making some music in the style of my heroes of the time; the MoWax, and Ninja Tune artists.

I was lucky to get Cambridge legend Demi R.I.P (Apes In Control, Pluck This, Your Dinner) to sing on 3 of the tracks and George Mathews (Kawala) to sing on another. It kept me busy. It was exactly what I needed.
